My City Council office is known for excellent constituent services responding to requests for help in relation to fixing pot holes, vegetation management, garbage collection problems, speed bump installation, along with many other issues.
Oakland is facing many problems. With the collapsing housing market, the City budget will have to be reduced dramatically. I will fight to preserve funding for key services – crime and fire protection, park maintenance, and programs for our children and seniors.
As Oakland confronts its many challenges and opportunities, the City needs seasoned leadership that residents can count on. That’s why Attorney General Jerry Brown, Assemblymember Sandre Swanson, Supervisor Keith Carson, Alameda County Central Labor Council and hundreds of North Oakland neighbors are endorsing my reelection.
